A German Imperial Pilot Badge Sent As 1916 Christmas Gift Archive 41 mm x 55 mmIn silvered tombac, hollow with 2 vent holes on reverse, measuring 45. 5 mm x 72. 2 mm, weighing 25. 2 grams, with period replaced pin; reverse neatly engraved in cursive German translation (To my Beloved little sister, in memory of your loyal brother, Heinz, Christmas 1916); therefore likely sent home by Pilot Heinz to sister at Christmas 1916; unique and very fine.
